Scott David Trout
Scott is on a journey to ReFind his song, through the twists and turns of his homeschooled beginnings. Like many of us, looking for love was Scott's first attempts to refind the song.
But there is also a Beast. The Beast hates the Song of Creation. The Beast whispers "Let me in..." and Scott opened the door.
Join this solo storytelling event to see who wins, the beast or the song, and to see just how bad Scott's first attempts at love were.
Scott David Trout
Scott David Trout is a native of Fort Collins, raised on dial-up and tree houses like a true 90's kid, 14ners and skiing like a true Colorado kid, and a lacking sex education like a true home-schooled Christian kid. (Scott didn't know that women didn't have prostates until he was 23.)
Scott was the middle child of five boys and was thus destined to seek attention through acting and to have a litany of weird moments with women. After receiving a BFA in Theater and Dance from the University of Wyoming that has not paid for itself, Scott decided to go into full time ministry, which has also not paid for itself. Now he is writing a show about his life.... hoping it will pay for itself.
But for real, Scott believes there is a song in each one of us that says "We were meant to be here, " but has experienced firsthand how easy it is to forget that song. Scott believes performing and sharing his story is one of the best ways to remind himself and the world about that song.
Scott is a podcast host of the Between Two Worlds Podcast-a podcast about belief, unbelief, and everything in between. He has performed with improv troupes in Colorado, Oregon, and Amsterdam, and he hopes to one day understand women.
