A girl named Jake grows up outside of Boston, loving school and singing in choir. But everything changes the year she turns twelve — she develops early, she’s spurned by the popular girls, and a teacher crosses a line.
Now middle aged, Jake is invited back to her middle school for a reunion.
Are there lessons to be learned by revisiting the people, places, and past that shaped her?
